Pirates, Conquerers and Colonists
Vikings not only were Pirates, but Traders, Explorers, Conquerers and Colonists. My figures shall represent all those Groups.
If you have one army of the dark age, you can use most figures for different armies by paint some extra figures to the existing armies:

And you can paint some very special Viking Units:
Berserks – Wild Things
Ulfhednar – Wulf Warriors
The figures will be used for a little wargaming campaign based on book and movie ” The 13th warrior” (book from Michael Crichton) too.
